Edwin Montano Scholarship

The scholarship is named after the late Edwin Montano, who was a leader in Waukegan Hispanic community and saw education as the key to success for the next generation. For the last 50 years the Puerto Rican Society in Waukegan has presented scholarships to college students. Financial assistance is a necessity for many college students, particularly those planning careers that require many years of education beyond the undergraduate level. Scholarships have unique benefits and are the most desirable form of financial aid. At the Puerto Rican Society our primary goal is to help students.
